Mason started Vacation Bible School at Pflugerville Community Church today. Although he cried when I dropped him off, he ended up having a great time. Alex wanted to play in Mason's closet most of the time Mason was gone. He had his run of the place and was loving it!

Andy had a trophy made for Jared as part of an inside joke. He got a kick out of it! 
We were so proud of Mason. He tried everything at the gym yesterday. By the time the party was over Mason was drenched! He had a great workout!

Also on Saturday they had a birthday party in Fireman's park for Brenham. They had two old fire trucks on display. The only below was from the 50's. The boys were able to climb in and check things out.
This one below was called the Samanthe. It was build in 1923. There were 31 built in the world and only 3 are still in working condition today. However, only the one below (in Brenham) still has the original engine. It costs $13K to build in the 20's and it cost $89K to refurbish it! It was unveiled last weekend and will be in 3 parades before it's put into a museum. It was really cool to look at.

My pictures are out of order, but this picture was taken today at Lakeline Mall. Alex just got a pair of Mickey Mouse glasses at the Disney store and he couldn't wait to model them!
This weekend Alex finally learned how to drive (and steer) the tractor on his own. He was so proud!
Andy took this picture on the Duck tour in Galveston. We originally wanted to ride an open air train but it never came.

The boys had so much fun at the beach!
Mason was in the water from the second we arrived at the beach until it was too dark to see anymore! He had so much fun. By the end of the vacation he was jumping the waves on his own. We were so proud of him! 
Occasionally he would need to rest after jumping all of those waves!
This was the hot tub (which was really only luke warm) at our hotel. The actual pool was only a little bit bigger then this! The max capacity was 18 people!
Mason and Alex shared a bed in the hotel. Alex thought it was pretty cool sleeping in a big boy bed with his brother!

The first night we were at the beach the boys made lots of new friends. It was so cute to watch them play together!
I will post more pictures from our trip once I can get the pictures off of my camera. Overall, we had a great vacation. I haven't been in the ocean water in at least 10 years. But I ventured out this trip and had a TON of fun in the waves. I got Alex to come jump waves with me and he had fun too. I can't wait to go back. We stayed at the Baymont hotel on Seawall. The mgmt of the hotel wasn't great, but our room was fine and they had yummy continental breakfast! We also did a Duck Tour which was a lot of fun and very interesting.
I made up a game for the boys to play. I put beans and noodles into two bowls. I hid letters and buttons in the bowl. In Aidan's bowl I made sure their were letters that spelled his name. I did the same with mason's name in his bowl. I timed them to see who could find the letters in their name and spell their name correctly first. The literally tied!
Then the boys played a connect four. They are still learning the concept of 4 in a row with their own color. The first starting stacking their colors on top of each other (black, red, black, red) to make 4 in a row! The game says it's for ages 7+, so they will get there! In the picture below Mason finally got 4 in a row with his red colored pieces!
Lindsey walked into camp as I was taking a picture of the boys. When I turned to tell her hi (with my camera) she quickly struck a pose for the camera!
This is part of the playground that the kids play on when they first get dropped off. It's so hot during the day that they playground time first thing (smart idea!)
I got to eat lunch with my hubby while the kids were in camp. We went to China Wall which we used to go to once a week when I still worked at Dell. I have been gone from Dell two years in July and I don't think I have eaten there since I quit Dell. It was sooo good! It was nice to eat lunch without interruptions! It has been nice having a few hours in the morning to get things done before picking the kids up. Thursday I get to get my stitches out! Yippee!
Alex was telling Riddick a secret. I asked him what he told Riddick and he told me he couldn't tell me because it was a secret. How does he know what a secret is at age 2! Yikes!
Mason and Aidan found the cork gun and the cap gun (without the caps!) They thought they were cool dudes!
Here is where it got fun for Mommy! I had a plate of different color paints out for the boys to paint with. I rolled out a big piece of white paper on the kitchen floor and they painted on that for a few minutes. When they were done, I didn't pick it up right away. Wouldn't you know it, Scotty stepped right into the red paint and proceeded to walk ALL OVER the house with the red paint on his back right foot. Let me just say, even though the paint is called "washable" paint, it doesn't come out of carpet very well. I have several red spots in the carpet that will be permanent fixtures. Not real happy about that. Guess I will pick up the paint faster next time.

Here is a picture of how I look now, with a big ole band aid down the middle of my forehead! It's a great look! It's even better without the band aid!
